Dr Elizabeth Schlappa

Elizabeth Schlappa is a historian of medicine, gender, and sexuality in seventeenth and eighteenth-century Britain. Her research focuses on the history of female sexuality, women’s health, and bodily agency.

She currently teaches History at Newcastle University.
